"The Letter to God" is written by G. L Fuentes. It is a story about a farmer who writes a letter to God to plead him for a good harvest after a hailstorm plundered the crops.
This story has two conflicts: one is between man and nature, the ancient conflict; the other is between man and man, the internal battle.
Explanation:
The rain starts, but soon it turns into a hailstorm that destroys the crops. So the farmer writes a letter to god complaining and pleading. He wants a good harvest, but nature's hailstorm does not permit it. This shows the conflict between man and nature.
Next, after receiving the 70pesos in an envelope, Lenchos gets angry because he thinks that the amount of money is too minimum. He doubts the postmaster and writes a letter complaining about him to God. This shows the instinctive nature of man to distrust another man, and it is the conflict between man and man.
The first conflict between Lencho and nature explains nothing is likely permanent life to live with cause and effect relationship. Second is a conflict between Lencho and post office employees is the effect of cause to suffer and support to live in society to survive both nature and human with substantial balance among all.

The conflict between humans and nature is illustrated by the destruction of Lencho’s crops by the hailstorm. Lencho had worked really hard on his fields and the harvest was really important for him. He required the money to feed his family. However, the nature turned violent. The rains were accompanied by a hailstorm, which destroyed the crops. The story also illustrates another conflict, between humans themselves. The postmaster, along with the help of the other post office employees, sent Lencho the money that they could manage to collect. They were not related to Lencho in any manner. It was an act of kindness and selflessness on their part. Even though they did a good deed, Lencho blamed them for taking away some amount of money. He called them “a bunch of crooks”. This shows that man does not have faith in his fellow humans, thereby giving rise to this conflict.

There are two types of conflicts between nature and Lencho and the post office employees. The earlier happens when his crops are destroyed by hailstones (nature). The later happens when he doesn't receive the full amount. He blames post office employees for it. He named them 'a bunched of crooks.' Even the requested God in the second letter to send him rest of money directly not by post because this amount may be stolen.
