Now, when driver applies brake to stop the vehicle, the vehicle comes to rest but the luggage carried over its roof continues to posses the inertia due to which it may fall forward or sideways. So to prevent any damage the luggage is tied with rope over the rooftop of any vehicle. read less

Newton's first law: Any object tends to stay in its state of rest, or (constant speed) motion. So, the luggage tends to slide backward, or forward when there is a sudden change in the speed of the vehicle slowing down, or speeding up respectively. Tying the luggage up makes sure that this slip doesn't...

100g of sodium because of less atomic mass.
Sadhwi
Which has more number of atoms, 100 grams of sodium or 100 grams of iron (given, atomic mass of Na = 23 u, Fe = 56 u)?
100 gm of sodium will have (Given mass / molar mass )x Avogadro's Number = (100/23) x 6.022 x 10^23 = 2.62 x 10^24 atoms 100 gms of Iron will have (100/56) x 6.022 x 10^23 = 1.07 x 10^24 atoms So 100 gms of Sodium will have more atoms.
