Well I want to share my experience on LKG admission of Chinmaya Vidyalaya. I got a incorrect info from one of my friends that Chinmaya Vidyalaya reject the applications with recommendations and no back door entry and all that. Believing that I did n't go for any recommendations/donations etc. On the day of interview itself, it clearly showed that they are not concerned about how the kids answers or whether the kid is talented or not. I don't know if anyone can assess a kid in 2 mins time. My kid got many certificates though he is just 3 and half. He completed Marathon, participated in sloka competition, drawing competition etc. But they did n't give any importance to the certificates. My kid is outspoken and answered all the questions they asked. But his name did not come in the list. And finally got to know that people who went with recommendations have got it (of course involvement of huge sum of money is also there). The interview is just a just a eyewash. If you want apply in chinmaya, bhavans or maharishi..go with high level recommendations (and there are brokers involved as well). After the result got to know from source that brokers charge 2lakhs for chinmaya..3 for Maharishi..4 to 5 for Bhavans. So be prepared when you apply to those schools. «less
