4. Chinese characters are so difficult to learn because there are no patterns to remember.

I would like to know that for how many months will be needed to learn Chinese language?
It depends on what level you want to achieve and how hard you study. If you work hard enough and are exposed to native circumstance, you can speak simple Chines even with one month. practice and devotion accounts a lot in language learning.

Chinese language is very broad term; which includes all dialects spoken in china but Mandarin Chinese is the official language of Mainland China. Mandarin Language has many levels; in beginner level one needs to spend 30 hrs.
