What is the right age to start playing chess?

If the IQ level is more than normal, 4 is the suitable age; moderate IQ, age 5 or 6; below normal age 8. An intelligence quotient, or IQ of between 90 and 110 is regarded as normal. An IQ of between 70 and 90 indicates learning difficulties, while a score below that level, points to mental disability. Within the over all range, even an IQ of between 50 and 70 is still classified as mild. Only IQ is less than 50 does independent living become virtually impossible. People with an IQ of more than 110 are classified as very intelligent, while those who score 130 or above are regarded as gifted. There are two type of IQ; 1) Fluid Intelligence is the ability to find ways of dealing with new situation and to quickly grasp its implications even in the face of distraction or disturbance; 2) Crystallised Intelligence is the end product of accumulated learning.
