Richard Emmanuel Roy

I am a CELTA-trained teacher with experience in tutoring children to develop their foundational skills with English and Mathematics. I operated a free learning centre in a remote village in the Garo Hills of Meghalaya to assist children with their English, Mathematics and Science coursework. I adapted their school coursebooks to become more engaging and interesting for them. I have also participated in the Montessori Foundation course. My goal is to help students build their confidence in using English to achieve their personal and professional goals. I aim to assist students in developing their spoken and written fluency, while also focusing on grammar and vocabulary. Additionally, I love encouraging learners of all ages through empathy, patience and kindness. I also love to encourage students to express themselves through creative skills.
