IdentityArun Kumar. M is a Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Fellow at the National Health Mission (NHM) and a National Child Rights Research Fellow (CRY Fellow). He is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at VIT University, Vellore, with a background in Mechanical Engineering and experience as an Industrial Engineer.
His work focuses on gender-based violence, mental health stigma, eco-anxiety, and social policy. He has conducted research on MGNREGA women, sanitation workers, and elderly parents of skilled migrants, utilizing quantitative, qualitative, and computational social science methods.
Previously, he has worked with Christian Medical College (CMC) and the Centre for Public Policy Research (CPPR), gaining hands-on experience in community engagement, public health, and policy analysis
