Let students speak up more by asking questions. The more they speak, the more confident they will become. Secondly, encourage them to fail more. When they know that it is okay to fail and make mistakes. Thereby, they will come out and speak more and this will help the tutors to work on their key-areas to help them improve. Next thing we can do as tutors is by giving them role-plays, put them in a situation, let them think and become creative in their ways to respond.
