The NCERT Hindi syllabus requires regular and sufficient preparation. Many students often mistake this subject to be an easy one and give it less than the due importance. Objectives of class 8 NCERT Hindi syllabus
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has structured the NCERT syllabus for class 8 Hindi, in detail. Students who aim to score good marks in Hindi must religiously follow the CBSE syllabus for class 8. The Hindi class 8 syllabus aims to train students with good writing and grammar skills, comprehension reading and understanding ability, short story and playwriting. It also focuses on examining the students on all the aforementioned sections. Since the questions for this subject, especially the literature part, usually needs detailed answers, students are required to thoroughly master the chapters listed in the class 8 Hindi syllabus.
Our NCERT syllabus for class 8 Hindi complies with the guidelines laid down by the CBSE. The chapters and topics covered under this syllabus guide all test takers with a roadmap for learning and a simple plan for a thorough study of the Hindi subject.
The CBSE class 8 Hindi syllabus consists of four parts. The first, ‘Section A’, comprises the unseen passage or ‘Apathit bodh’; while the second part, i.e. ‘Section B’, includes all topics that come under CBSE syllabus for class 8 Hindi grammar. The third part, ‘Section C’, is literature or ‘Pathyapustak’, which covers poetry & prose; and the fourth and last- Section D, is creative writing or ‘Rachnatmak lekhan’.
The weightage of marks of the aforementioned sections according to the CBSE syllabus for class 8 Hindi, are as follows: Section A- 10 to 15 marks, Section B- 20 to 25 marks, Section C- 40 to 45 marks, and lastly, Section D- 10 to 15 marks.
The CBSE also recommends three NCERT books for Hindi literature viz. Vasant, Durva and Bharat ki Khoj.
