The notation is an art of reading music and being able to reproduce a music piece which emotes in the same manner as it's written.

Music is written in five parallel lines which are called staff. The staff consists of five lines and four spaces.

Notes are read from left to right. The higher the note on the staff, the higher the pitch is.

Clef is a symbol placed at the beginning of the staff. The most common clef is treble clef which is also used by guitar.
