hello I am an electric guitar player and I wanted to learn vocals so I should go for Indian classical or western?

What you have learnt must be Electric Guitar with a western music base, though you have not sepcified. If you learnt western vocal, it might go with it more comfortable. However the style of singing is also based on what is your overall objective - If you want to become a good singer, and even a lead singer in many world music groups, Indian style vocal is very very useful, and you can develop excellent skills if you practise v well. We also teach vocals in Carnatic style, and you can also find plenty of good accomplished teachers in your city of residence.

I would suggest you learn western classical or Jazz singing this was adopted to jazz music. 1st if you learn you can sing and perform. If you learn Indian classical it's very good, but the use of electric guitar in this form is less, once you get good knowledge in one form of music, with less effort you can understand other forms too. So that we can bring out apt fusion concert.
