The full form of CA IPCC exam is Integrated Professional Competence Course, to which students who have already cleared the CA CPT exam can only apply for.
Out of all students who appear in the CA CPT exam, 30% clears and proceeds to the IPCC segment.
Graduates with more than 55% in aggregate score can directly apply for CA IPCC exam, and are now exempted from appearing in the CA CPT exam.
The application for CA IPCC exam starts with the submitting the IPCC registration form.

After submitting the CA IPCC form, it still takes 8-months to appear for the exam.
Fee payment for CA IPCC exam can be done in two ways : demand draft or pay order. The DD or pay order has to be drawn in favor of ‘The Secretary, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’. It has to be payable at Chennai, Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata or Kanpur.
Other than DD or pay order, other important documents required for CA IPCC exam are attested copy of Class XII pass certificate and attested copy of CPT marks sheet.
The CA IPCC exam is held twice in a year – May and November.
There are 7 papers in CA IPCC exam which are further segmented into parts and groups. The CA IPCC papers are:
GROUP I
Accounting (100 marks)
Law, Ethics and communication (100 marks)
Cost accounting and financial management (100 marks)
Tax (100 marks)
GROUP II
Advanced accounting (100 marks)
Auditing and assurance (100 marks)
Information technology and strategic management (100 marks)
A student can appear for both the groups or each group at a time for CA IPCC exam.
To be considered as a passout candidate of CA IPCC exam, a student has to meet the following criteria:
40% in each subject (of both groups)
50% in aggregate for all subjects (of both groups)
50 % in aggregate
40% in each subject
