Meditation is a stage when we start thinking about only one thought/thing, sthool or sookham..and later we start concentrating on our inner body and later chakras or body's psychic centres and later experience inner peace then we our self can know what is right time and position for us to mediate.

The best time to do yoga is in the morning ,second in evening at the time of sunset ..and if one dosent have time in morning and evening ,can perform as per their free time ....at that time your stomach must have to be empty like after 3-4 hour of any meal ..and do not consume any food just after yoga... ...more

yes yoga improves the concentration definitely weather it is balancing postures,some specific kriyas ,breathing practice,pranayam and last but not least meditation.

Actually its really difficult to explain advantage of Samadhi because its a matter of internal feeling and self observation rather then explain, then too if we want to understand -In Samadhi stage the mind becomes still, one-pointed or concentrated while the person remains conscious we observe these... ...more
Actually its really difficult to explain advantage of Samadhi because its a matter of internal feeling and self observation rather then explain, then too if we want to understand -In Samadhi stage the mind becomes still, one-pointed or concentrated while the person remains conscious we observe these changes step in to Samadhi stage Movement of the mind onto the object, Retention of the mind on the object Joy, rapture Happiness Equanimity One-pointed and bring one to the Divine State of Supreme Bliss the body will be same but the mind change and change for good. The person becomes passive to all good and not so good happenings around and thus they get real peace.
