I started teaching 2 students in my free time . Both of them were average in school but after my teaching methodology which is more about visual memorisation and correlation of the topics and less on rote memorization , marks of both of the students raised to about 10% . It is an interatomic bonding in which two atoms share an electron pair. Carbon having a valency of 4 can either give 4 electrons or take four electrons to become stable. This exchange of 4 electrons needs a high amount of energy, so rather than giving or taking carbon usually shares the electron pairs with other carbon atoms or any other elements.
