Hi,
It's very simple..one way is to just look at your grades in the previous class and see if only grades are the issue or not... If not second thing is to check whether you have gained enough knowledge like if someone asks you about a particular thing you're able to answer that... because no matter what your grades speak you're adaptation towards a subject should be important..
