SolidWords Curriculum

This course is for ready to work in the actual industry. How the design tool like Solidworks, inventor, UGNX etc, are used to create the parts and assembly.

Each Day I will have 1.5 to 2 hours class and drawings will be provided for practices.

In this course you will be learning following things:  

1. Brushing up drawing reading skills: Drawing reading is basic thing for starting design, here we will learn how to understand the drawing, annotations, title block, and template.           1 Day
2. First angle and Third angle projection: Difference between first angle and third angle. In engineering drawing how it will be useful                                                                            1 Day
3. Part Modelling
   1. Solids: Sketch, Revolve, Sweep Features and Loft Features                                                                            2 Days
   2. Sheet metal: Sheet metal, bend, edge bend, flange, mitre flange, jog, hem, fold, unfold and flatten                                                                                     2 Days
   3. Surface: Basic surface options                                                  2 Days
4. Assembly
   1. Top down assembly: Basic and advanced   solidworks options                                                                     4 days
   2. Bottom Up assembly: Basic and advanced solidworks options                                                                     2 days
5. Drawing and Detailing
   1. Part drawing: Projection view, section view, auxiliary view, broken out section, break and crop view Fabrication drawing weldments drawing and machine drawing                                                                       2 days
   2. Assembly drawing: Layout drawing, instruction drawing, Bill of material and exploded drawing                                                                                                           2 days
6. Tests on each module
