To answer this question, I can only say that apart from classroom learning, online classes are the in-thing today!
Online tuitions will help you provided you are self-motivated, systematic, and have a meticulous teacher/trainer who'll steer you through the lessons in a systematic way!
First of all, you need to get familiar with the classes and the methodology of the teacher. Next, prepare or make notes and then follow the sessions religiously.

There's pass or fail in the IELTS test. It's an eligibility criterion and nothing else.
As you are aware, your score in IELTS could read between 1 to 9.
1 - Non-user
2 - Intermittent user
3 - Minimal user
4 - Limited user
5 - Modest user
6 - Competent user
7 - Good user
8 - Excellent user
9 - Expert user
Then you have a half-point increase between each of them.
Now, it depends on the requirement of the user. For instance, some companies insist on an 8, triple 7 or some universities allow a score of 6.5 for admission, etc.
