"I'm was a beginner and new to Carnatic music and instruments. The first few classes of her helped me to develop a strong connection with veena. She has a deep knowledge and good expertise in veena and she makes sure to deliver the same to her students. Right from tuning veena to correct Shruthi to playing the swaras with proper kalapramanam, thala and gamakam, she give attention to every details and teaches us with complete dedication. Her teaching also includes giving a well prepared notes and audio/video homework correction. She also conduct several concerts and provide opportunity for her students to play veena on stage. This really helps us to boost our confidence. Even though it's been a short time, I'm now very much confident with veena. Grateful to have a guru like Sangeetha ma'am. "

"I have been learning Veena from Sangeetha mam from 8 months She is an excellent teacher. Within a few months of starting to learn, she has guided me to have the confidence to start playing songs. She has deep knowledge of music and she shares that with the students selflessly. She encourages us to understand the concepts and play following proper methods. She puts in a lot of effort to correct our mistakes by spending time outside of the class also. She gives attention to progress of every student and has a plan on how she can help us improve. She also arranges concerts for us to participate that gives exposure to playing along with percussion instruments and playing in front of audience. She teaches popular devotional songs along with the regular syllabus which i really enjoy and family members also enjoy listening to the popular Bhajans. I feel extremely blessed to play these on festivals. No words will be sufficient to express my thanks and gratitude to mam to help me fulfill my desire to play such a devine instrument. "I am 10 years old and I have been learning Veena from Sangeetha ma'am from May 2021. The teaching style of ma'am is extraordinary. She emphasises on each and every detail of every swara, raaga and taala..! She arrays our talent by hosting many solo and group concerts..! She frequently shares recordings to us "Vainikas" to learn, practice and master minute details of each and every class. She also provides sufficient number of theory classes from time to time. "I am learning Veena under the guidance of Sangeetha ma’am for the last 8 months and I should mention that she has helped me gain confidence to play the Veena with ease. She emphasizes on playing Veena with proper “Kaalapramanam” and required “Gamakams” for everything that she teaches. Being a perfectionist – which is a much needed trait for a musician, she encourages students to pick this characteristic as well while playing the Veena. Sangeetha ma’am has in depth knowledge in theoretical aspect of music which she always shares with her students during the classes . She helped me shed the inhibitions for online classes for Veena , as the classes that Sangeetha ma’am conducts are very much like direct one to one classes. She always highlights on understanding the concepts thoroughly and practicing the same before moving ahead with the subsequent lessons. "I have been fortunate to have been her student for past one year. Music is her life. She makes it a point that every one of her students should learn and enjoy playing veena. "I have started my Veena classes from Sangeeta ma'am with zero knowledge. I should say it's a God driven path for me, have no clue how can we do it online without any knowledge and instrument. But ya, it's possible, ma'am had guided like mom holding her child's hand and teaching, she took me to the stage of playing songs within very short span of time, and playing *manodharma Sangeetham* is one more achievement in my recent concert for Navaratri 2021. *Believe nothing is impossible when you find your right Guru.* Would like to say thank you to my Guru, not only for the teachings, but also motivating towards life and building confidence. I would like to mention one more thing, most of us have few concerns about class timings, calculating minutes to money, no. of classes to monthly payment... Please, let's makeup our minds that education is different and art is different. Art is an Ocean, you need a Guru throughout the life and one have to pay for lifetime be it one or many. We cannot windup learning music or art just like a course, it's lifetime learning school. I pray on behalf of this medium to everyone, let's take care of Guru shishya parampara and give them pride moments proving them as best students. "" I have been learning veena from samgeetha ma'am for a year. It is really a great experience. She is a wonderful and a very dedicated teacher. I have learned many new topics from her, which I have never knew and I found all those topics very helpful while playing veena. I have learned Hariharasanam, Lingastakam, Aigiri nandhini and Vande meenakshi. I always enjoyed playing veena. I recently played "Vande meenakshi" in a Navarathri program. I had struggled so much to learn that song because it was my 1st song. Sangeetha ma'am teaching is splendid and extraordinary.
