"I had attended the pencil sketching classes for around an year and a half .I was a complete beginner to drawing and now I can confidently say that I can draw and do proper pencil sketching. Roopa Mam is very dedicated to what she teaches.Would highly recommend her classes. "

"My friend has been to painting classes here. You will be charged an advance of 2000? for which you get a copy of receipt and she keeps another. Let us get back to that 2000? later. So, my friend has gone for a trip on one weekend. So she asked her to arrange those 2 classes on some weekday of the following week. Here comes the math, that weekend being end of the month, to arrange those classes on the following week meant that those two classes fall in the first week of the next month. So she has to pay entire month fee if she is planning to cover those two classes. Now about the advance, my friend has lost the receipt. So she has called up the trainer and told the same but she refused to give the refund. Now she is in dire need of money. Despite calling her and informing about the situation and reminding about the copy that she has taken, she refused to give the money. Faith in humanity is lost. I can't comment about the quality if training as my friend has been there for only a month. You cannot achieve much progress in one month. However, the progress is quite less for the amount charged. Hope this review helps. Disclaimer: My friend doesn't know about this review. She asked me to leave the issue but I just couldn't sit quite. So wrote this review so that it'll save someone from loosing hard earned money. "

Hello Shanmukh, Thank you for writing. Unfortunately, you are not aware of the facts and the discussions we had with your friend at the time of joining. Your friend attended less than a month in May 2017 (2 weeks to be precise). She had the whole month to adjust the classes. Which she did not do. 2 weeks is not enough for any progress irrespective of the amount charged. We spend about 20 minutes on the joining day requesting co-operation from the student to avoid any misunderstanding. Both accepted to cooperate. Now we are being blamed. We do not take Rs 2000 as Advance. We take one month fee as a Refundable Deposit, which we refund at the time of leaving on producing the Receipt and clearing the dues. In your friend’s case, there were material dues and she did not have the receipt. Do you know the reasons for the Deposit? Do you know why we should do this? Do you know why we should request students to take back their deposit within 1 month? It is due to the following: 1. To ensure that the students stick to a pattern to learn and enrich their skills. 2. To ensure that other students get a chance to learn, when one discontinues without informing. 3. To ensure that the students do not lose their hard-earned money. 4. Proper Accounting Practice. We have cases where students quit, but come after a year to claim the deposit. We have had cases where students take materials and attend 1/2 the month and vanish without clearing dues. Hope this clears the misunderstanding.
