What is the difference between wisdom and knowledge?"

Lets take a simple example of driving and the driver of a car. Knowing how to drive = Knowledge/jnana. Whether to drive, how fast?, how slow?, where to? right? left? straight? which gear? over drive? etc... = Wisdom/buddhi

Is it important to have fluent English to do presentations?

I would say definitely yes. Fluency reflects flow of words and thus clarity of speech. Clarity of speech denotes clarity of thought. Albeit fluency only in the language seldom helps.
