Hi Guys!! Please help me. Am going to take a course. Please suggest me which is best? 1. Informatica (or) Tableau? 2.which subject is more easy to learn? 3.Which is having less coding? 4.which is having more opportunities? TIA

Firstly as already said by others, we need to understand that Tableau is a Reporting Tool and Informatica is an ETL tool. Firstly as already said by others, we need to understand that Tableau is a Reporting Tool and Informatica is an ETL tool. Tableau unlike the conventional and end user-friendly BI tools like OBIEE, Cognos etc. Tableau offers personalised reporting capabilities where it is most used by Data Analysts for visualisations. Informatica is an ETL tool by Nature but offers more comprehensive packaged solutions like MDM, IDQ etc. Both would require a basic understanding of how Data is stored and SQL etc. But Tableau is a bit easy compared to Informatica and has more opportunities currently, but make sure to have the real time implementation knowledge of Tableau as it’s not as easy to Work on it as it is to learn. On the other Informatica have more opportunities towards MDM and IDQ which are tough to be taught. Informatica PowerCenter is easy to learn and has plenty of resources available online.
