Hello,
The answer lies that both are equivalent.
Currently, Selenium has been on top for the Web Automation.
And people have been using Selenium with Java, but now the preference is getting shifted slowly to Python as the concepts remain the same, the scripting language changes. So you can start with Selenium with Java and then move to Selenium with Python.
