"Although I had learned Bharatanatyam for a year during my school days, I started learning from dance teacher Laksmi Devi V when I was working in Mumbai. She taught the adavus, theory including shlokas with great clarity. She corrected my postures with patience which I was not aware were wrong, when I was learning previously. She also taught small dance pieces along with regular adavus which made the class enjoyable. The one-to-one sessions with her were insightful and were something I used to look forward to during weekends. "

Thank you Divya. I had a great time imparting this skill along with our amazing conversation, your curious questions and patience . I saw you growing in many ways compared to how we started. You became aware of your posture, araimandi, presentation and learnt with dedication. You also see others dance and learn from it.
