Drawing and Painting

"My Kids Rhea and Gauri ( twins) have been learning basics of drawing and painting for the past 3 years from Kavita. They started when they were seven. They have enjoyed attending Kavita's classes, because I think Kavita has been able to provide them space to explore and learn the nuances of painting/drawing at their pace and their liking, mentoring and guiding them appropriately. Kavita keeps her classes small and thereby is able to provide individual attention and she also paces and directs the content based on the ability of the student. The biggest proof of Kavita's teaching ability is the quality of work that the girls are churning out and the fact that they are eager to go to the class every time every week without fail that too after a grinding session in the swimming pool. "

"My daughter has been going to Kavita's class for almost 2 years now. She has learnt her basics well and is able to use water colors much better. Kavita guides her constantly and helps when she is working. My daughter is looking forward to graduating to painting on canvas and I am sure Kavita will help her reach there soon! "

"I discovered more of the artist in me by attending this class. I started with sketching and I am into Oil painting now. The classes being on weekends were very feasible for me. The classes are jovial and fun where one would receive individual attention. I have created some of my best works through Mrs. Kavita's classes. I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to nurture their talent. "

Art Classes

"Mrs. Kavita is an extremely competent teacher and accomplished artist. When I first met her, I was very hesitant and apprehensive since I had no prior exposure to the field. She gradually guided me, beginning from the basics and progressing according to my skill level. I am amazed at my own improvement and it can solely be attributed to her watchful eye and guiding hand. Oil Painting

"Kavitha's style of teaching is simple and easy to understand. She gives individual attention to each student and takes the time to explain concepts and techniques. She demonstrates how a stroke or effect can be acheived and then let's the sutdents try it for themselves. Kavitha also has an excellent knack for explaining things, that makes painting easy for learners. She is flexible in her approach and let's students decide what they want to sketch/paint. I highly recommend her as a teacher."

"Kavita likes her student's art to be perfect. She emphasize more on the finishing/detailing of art. And while painting she explains about different methods and strokes/patterns, and give more details about the paints(medium) we use and also about type of brushes to be used for that particular medium/pattern... She helps you in understanding the techniques to harness your skills and the improvement is tremendous. "I took up Kavita's art classes as I wanted help with creating fashion illustrations for my boutique. Within 5 classes, I have experienced improvement in my sketching and observation skills. I'm learning to use a variety of materials including watercolour paints, colour pencils, charcoal, graphite pencils, liner pens and oil pastels. Kavita has great ideas on mixing these media to produce interesting textures and add depth to the sketches. After I complete the current course, I also plan to learn more of oil pastels since her range of work with oils is very impressive. I really like Kavita's teaching method - without going into too many technical details and personal attention provided to each student. I highly recommend her class to anyone planning to learn art on a serious level or even as a hobby."
