Online or classroom teaching : it depends on the age of the student and the subject the teacher is teaching...
For example, art and craft, dance, classical music... these require classroom face to face sessions..
Mathematics, there's no difference between the two..
In fact, a good teacher can teach students from other part of the globe through online mode.. Thanks to the technology!

Both the systems improve mental ability and accuracy of calculations. Abacus learning requires basic knowledge of number writing. So, starting age is 4 years. Since it requires minimum 2 years to complete the entire course, we recommend students up to 7th standard to start learning Abacus.
VedicMathematis : I prefer students above 3rd standard. Only reason being: It would be better if they know division concept.
There's absolutely no upper age limit to start learning Vedic maths...
