Dear Neelaxi, The best way to find the right person for your work; 1. prepare the list of tasks you want to get accomplished. 2. For those tasks what skill set is needed 3. Float the requirement in Job Portals/ LinkedIn 4. Qualify the resumes on the basis of Skillsets and experience. 5. Interview them on the actual problem statement and evaluate the basis of the responses they give. 6. if satisfied; then give them the assignment to work on and tell them to present it to you if found satisfactory, would be selected for the final round.

If you have been in the USA or any other country, then the simple answer would be yes, but in India, if you are looking to move into IT or any sector with a GAP or no relevant experince, the biggest hurdle you face is that profile unfitted. Here in India, Companies do not encourage people to move to their career of choice. But, you could undoubtedly try with Startups or small companies, they would be willing to hire you, provided they find the skillsets in you, what they are looking for and you are the best in that.

All the SAP modules are great. Are you looking for functional side or technical side of SAP? Try to align this with your educational qualification. for example. If you are an MBA in Marketing, then on SAP functional Side SAP Sales & distribution Module would be an advantage.

Its almost very difficult to get an internship in SAP, as this requires an excellent infrastructure, generally the training providers are required to provide/ assist you in the internships. It is a big problem with small-time trainer, those do not make the students employable fully.

Neither companies nor people are not interested in offering you a job after some gap. You need to earn your job, Develop skillsets and show value to the interviewer, how your skills and experience are going to help the organization if they hire You. I recommend you to learn digital marketing. In this industry, there are lots of jobs and people can get into work within 3-4 months after the training.
