Digital Film Making

"I have joined the two days workshop of film making held in Uniworld, Electronic City. It was a brand new experience for me staring from the ABCs of a film, the script writing, screenplay, shooting and post productions aspects like editing. We ended up making a short movie which taught me how profound the idea of film making is. Vihaan as a presenter and as a mentor was really great. Overall experience was extremely beyond expectation. I am glad to be part of Goldenage. "

I attend many workshops before that in different places but this workshop gave me a complete overview of digital filmaking and moreover end of this workshop we had one short film in our hand to show our audience. "In simple terms, it was a fantastic experience while attending the workshop. To be small fish in a big pond it is better to be a big fish in a small pond. Here I refer Golden age film house a small pond because it is startup production house and ubfeel like big fish because u get lot opportunities to learn the art and get a basic foundation about filmmaking. your journey will not end after the workshop it continues as you show genuine commitments towards film making. The artists in GAFH will keep you posted on various projects and also u can get involved it. People who have the passion to becomes a film maker can enjoy lot of learning during your initial days. Vihan is an accomplished actor, director, dancer, editor and if you get a chance to work with him don't look back because you're on the right track to reach your goal. "

Film Making

"It was an awesome experience to work with Vihaan. He is very passionate about his profession. He gave us indepth understanding of how a flim is made. The workshop gave us insight of story to screenplay, different kinds of shots, pitching our ideas, lighting, editing, acting, dubbing. We also got a chance to do a short movie with him and it was great experience to us who all participated. Also what i liked about Vihaan is his commitment with us to make short movie and also showed immense patience throughout on us while filming and dubbing. It's not easy to make films with untrained people like us but he made it so wonderfully. Another thing is about his discipline to make sure that the short film gets completed after editing and dubbing to make sure it is released on the planned date. Thanks Vihaan for the confidence given to me and i would love to work with you again "

Digital Film Making

"The experience was good. 2 days of workshop is very little time to cover up the vast subject of film making. The first day was purely a theoretical one with in depth analysis of film making. In the second part of the day an idea was selected and was actually shoot which gave real experience. The second day was about the lessons on editing. Here I would say participants should be either allowed to bring own laptop to give real experience. Just be looking at the demo is not helpful unless you do it. So either provide a setup (desktop or laptop ) with required software or tell the participant to bring personal laptop with software. The main idea is to get the experience of doing rather than just seeing the mentor doing it. Rest it is a good workshop to know the very basics of film making. "

Film Direction

"The instructor Vihaan himself has a great experience in making movies. He is well aware of technical things and knows how to tell a story and the best part is he is friendly. He listens to what you are saying, encourages you to be more interactive. He answers all your questions promptly. In workshop he covers most of the topics and shoots a short movie, which is very helpful. Good hands on experience. One thing made me sad is number of people but that's the thing, more people get to know about the workshop more people will attend (5-6 people for a session is best). In a nutshell I am happy after attending the workshop, got to know good, like minded people. But don't take it for granted and expect yourself to be pro, you will surely improve and workshop is meant for that. Learn as much as you can, build a team, experiment. Happy movie making. Write, shoot, edit, repeat. #filmriot "
