I make sure that I give them homework on the topics covered on that particular day,so that it acts as a practice session for them. I provide them with notes related to each chapter. Every now and then I keep asking them questions from previous topics so that they don't forget those topics.

In our first meeting, Gargi asked about my expectations from her and made the curriculum accordingly instead of constraining a pre-defined curriculum. She was also able to connect with my son almost immediately, which immensely helped as my son was hesitant to speak Hindi.
