" After investing a good sum in this course and a subsequent Technical Indicators course, it was hard for me to acknowledge to myself that I had spent money and time on such useless courses. The instructor of this course himself professes that any theory that is not based on data and rests only on anecdotal evidence should not only be disbelieved but also be ridiculed, yet anecdotal evidence and random patterns in charts form the pedagogy for all his courses. There also exists a BIC Yahoo group mailing list where the instructor regularly sends mail asking present and former students of his courses to submit names and e-mail IDs in an online excel sheet so that he can send out suggestions to buy and sell stocks based on his knowledge. This gives members of the mailing group, who have not yet enrolled for any courses, the impression that a benefit of a post course support. However, this is just a marketing strategy, since I have submitted my name and email ID on the online excel sheet but not received a single suggestion till date. In fact, I also sent out a mail on the group asking the instructor when he was planning to start giving out the suggestions, but the mail was blocked from being published on the group. The EqNS course is supposed to have a session on trading behavior and psychology, which never happened for our batch. Also, we never ever saw the instructor himself investing or trading his own money on any stock or any instrument using the material that was taught. Not even on the so called "Live Trading" day that is reserved for the end of the course. The live trading day was used to demonstrate Sharekhan features which could have been done on any weekend. Most of the people (including me) who skipped office on Monday to attend the live trading day in hope of seeing the instructor put his money but it never happened. As usual, only talk and no trades. I would strongly recommend anyone to avoid doing any course at BIC. It is not just a waste of money, but also a waste of time and mental effort. You could instead invest your valuable resources to study books from successful traders and investors and approach the market in a more scientific way. "
