Hi Mahalakshmi,
What I understand from your question put in a compact form is this: As you have taught for three years, you must be doing good as a teacher. Right? Ask yourself the following:
1. What made you disinterested in the field? Quality and behaviour of the students? Are you finding it hard to update yourself in the teaching field?
2. Have you had hands-on experience in IT? Are you sure that you'll like IT in future also? Consult someone who is working in IT. I was working in IT (CTS) before. I always found that IT is not my cup of tea because I did not like working (mostly and only) with computers. I wanted to enjoy teaching, interacting with a large group of students.
3. Is teaching not challenging enough? Or is the payslip not making you happy?
4. How do you know that the issues bothering you will not be there in the IT field?
Mahalakshmi, Please try answering this and write down your views on a sheet of paper for precise analysis. Plz, think twice before you change fields unless you are very sure what you are doing. Or, if you are passionate about IT, you can always learn to program and work as a consultant. You can be in both the fields simultaneously depending on your preferences.
All the very best Mahalakshmi!
