Fellow class mates needed some help with the course work and that's how started. I have been teaching since then for all three years in college although it was a non-payable form of teaching. Any teaching experience helps me to correct my flaws (if any) in my core concepts for Mathematics and also helps people in understanding the simplicity of the subject. It thus allows me to appreciate the beauty of the subject more. I like to keep the basic concepts fairly simple by using examples from our everyday lives and thus stress more on the conceptual part rather than proving long and dry theorems. In addition to the conventional pen & paper methods, I realised discussion hours & problem sessions are really helpful but it solely depends on the student's wish.
