Hi Moumita,
It depends on what you want your kid to be into. If you're going to go to Piano, then indeed it is better to go for Casio because of the keys. YAMAHA is more versatile. However, ultimately it is the learning process that matter, not precisely the keyboard. So get what you can and get into learning. Don't worry much about Yamaha, Casio. It will be great if he is given an excellent trainer to train.
