Arabic has a dual form to indicate two of something. It's formed by adding suffixes "-āni" or "-ayni" to nouns or verbs. For example, "كتابان" (kitābān) means "two books." Dual forms are used when referring to pairs or groups of two in Arabic.

Arabic has a separate form to show the number 'two'. To convert a single-noun to dual or muthannā, 'āni' is added for nominal, and 'ayni for genitive and accusative cases.
