Creating a GIF in Photoshop is a straightforward process.
1. **Open Photoshop**:
- Launch Adobe Photoshop on your computer.

3. **Create a New Document**:

7. **Set Frame Duration**:
- To control the duration of each frame (how long it's displayed), click on the time below each frame in the "Timeline" panel and set the time in seconds.
8. **Looping Options**:
- Decide how many times your GIF will loop:
- To loop it indefinitely, select "Forever."
- To loop it a specific number of times, set the number accordingly.
9. **Preview**:
- Click the "Play" button in the "Timeline" panel to preview your GIF.
- Make any necessary adjustments to frame durations or other settings.
10. **Save as GIF**:
- To save your animation as a GIF, go to "File" > "Export" > "Save for Web (Legacy)."
- In the "Save for Web" dialog box, choose "GIF" from the format options.
- Adjust settings such as the number of colors, dithering, and image size to optimize your GIF.
- Preview the GIF in the dialog box to see how it will look.
- Click the "Save" button to choose the location and name for your GIF file.
11. **Finalize and Save**:
- Click "Save" to save your GIF.
