Q1. When and how you started as a Mehndi Artist?
Ans. As a kid, Mehndi designs and its fragrance had always attracted and mesmerised me. I was passionate about designing and love making unique designs. I had been designing from the last 10 years.
I am an Engineer by profession but designing Mehndi is my first love and I want to spread across the world. Nowadays, western tattoo designs are trending but Mehndi has its own unique place and value in India. I get a lot of appreciation from friends and family which boosts my confidence and inspires me to design Mehndi perfectly. I love it when my Mehndi designs make someone feel special and beautiful.
Q2. What skills are required to become a Mehndi Artist?
Ans. It is very important to understand an occasion, as Mehndi designs vary from occasion to occasion. Selection of design also matters a lot because sometimes simple designs work well, if placed at the right place.
I think creativity and fun go hand in hand. Trainers should make Mehndi design classes exciting to make students eager to learn how to design perfectly.
