Q1. When and how did you start as a Microsoft Azure trainer?
In the year 2014, I got an opportunity to work with Security 24 IT services, a US-based cloud hosting company that is now a part of NTT Data Centre. , It was there that I got a chance to explore about cloud and its services to a large extent, and since then I have been training students. I have nearly twelve years of overall IT experience and I am currently working as a Virtualisation neutral Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Q2. What skills are required to become a Microsoft Azure trainer?
To be Azure Administrator, one should have knowledge and exposure on building blocks of data centres such as Windows Server OS, Networking, Storage, Monitoring, access control concepts. All these are integral parts of my Azure training. Passion for technology and determination to get a job should be among the must-haves.
Q3. What do you think makes you stand out from other Microsoft Azure trainers on UrbanPro.com?
I believe “Students’ success is my success,” and also I have an immense passion for technology. Strong knowledge and working experience in all the verticals of IT infrastructure viz. Q5. What was the turning point in your career?
It wouldn’t be an exaggeration if I say that UrbanPro.com was the turning point in my career. This platform provided me with excellent business during 2014-2015; I was among the very few trainers, who could provide quality training in Azure. UrbanPro took my training business to the global level.
Q6. How did UrbanPro.com help you expand your teaching classes?
Though I didn’t have high hopes on UrbanPro initially, later, I noticed that the conversion rate was getting higher. I then realised the potential of this platform and started relying on it. I have been maintaining my platinum membership ever since the time I started my association with UrbanPro. It finally made me quit my regular day job with Qualcomm India and made tutoring a full-time business. It was 90% at some point of my business, whereas now, I get around 50-60%.
