Here is an excerpt from the interview with Sanjeev Sivadas.
Q1. When and how did you start as a BTech tutor?
I started taking classes way back in 2012. Since then I have successfully trained almost 2,000 students both at Sanjeev Academy and at other institutions. The very thought of giving tuitions to BTech students struck me when I found that in a classroom of 60-70, each and every student cannot be given individual attention. Many students find it very difficult to complete the syllabus, and some struggle to even submit the projects and assignments in time. I take one on one sessions or a batch of five, and thus make them understand all concepts and processes in an easy to comprehend manner. My primary aim remains to not make them feel burdened to have opted, but make them develop the fondness and passion for this a challenging field.
Q2: What skills are required to become a BTech tutor?
One should be passionate about teaching. Also, striving to help students achieve the best, while also grooming their personality, should be given equal importance.
Q3. What do you think makes you stand out from other IELTS tutors on UrbanPro.com?
I try to remain available to student’s needs most of the times. I am also open to giving classes anytime depending on their availability so as to clear their doubts and build confidence in them. Also, I never miss a chance to appreciate their accomplishments.

Q5. What was the turning point in your career?
The turning point in my career was the response I got from the students I had taught. They came out with flying colours, getting 100 per cent results. Their achievement is my success.
