Q1. When and how you started as a Class IX-X Tutor?

Ans. My career as a Tutor started in 2000. I discovered my passion for teaching and realised I am quite good at it. Moreover, my experience of teaching was very encouraging as I received positive reviews from students and parents. This really motivated me and I decided to dedicate my life to teaching.

Q2. What skills are required to become a Class IX-X Tutor?

Ans. I feel the following skills are required to become a great Class IX-X Tutor:

1. In-depth knowledge of the subject and teaching concepts “Pre-preparation is the key to SUCCESS for every Teacher” (before teaching students, it is very important to prepare for the class). Pick up easy examples and refer more books.

2. Application of different techniques based on the student’s ability.

3. As an eye break session - give students worksheets on basics regularly, conduct test every week on the previous week’s chapters or portions.

4. Understanding adolescence is very important, be patient, friendly and polite. Remember each child’s learning capacity differs in nature.

5. Make them Share with you freely about school, family, friends and any personal issues (keep it confidential). Make sure you are a good listener too.

Q3. What do you think makes you stand out from other Class IX-X Tutors on UrbanPro.com?

Ans. I think all students are comfortable with me as I go down to their level and teach them from the basics. Motivating them to beat their own score even when they go down in their academic (Never compare them with others). I feel that my students failures as my failures and teach them line by line from every chapter in which they are weak, always be with them and help them to answer in classroom bravely, which mean they prepare their portions in advance, as I believe that,” WINNERS DO SOME MORE! This will definitely help them to be confident. Once they taste success they will NEVER want to give up.
