Q1. When and how did you start as a corporate trainer?
Ans: I started my corporate training journey in 2017. Today I provide classes at my training centre, the client’s home and at their corporate offices as well. I registered on UrbanPro.com in 2016 which really allowed me to grow my corporate training and become the trainer I am today. I have also started my skill training company which imparts 21st-century skills to working professionals and students.
Q2. What skills are required to become a corporate trainer?
Ans: The skills to tell a good story, being able to present confidently in front of an audience, the ability to listen carefully and to give real case studies and examples from the corporate world are essential to being a great trainer. Being able to cater to the trainee’s requirements also helps to become an effective trainer as one size doesn’t fit all.
Q3. What do you think makes you stand out from other corporate trainers on UrbanPro.com?
Ans:
-
Practical training for soft skills through outdoor training.
-
Real time case studies and examples from corporate scenarios.
-
Capstone projects at the end of the training to implement the training in the participants' lives.
-
Encouraged volunteering of all the participants to learn the art of leadership and empathy.
-
Regular industry connects to make sure the participants network with other leaders from different industries and build their brand.
-
Lifelong tracking of participants to make sure they are on track and don’t shift focus from their goals.
I am also equally accountable for their success and I think because of this quality I am totally different from other trainers on UrbanPro.com. I get 100 % great feedback from everyone who has done training with me.
Q4. How did you come across UrbanPro.com?
Ans: I came across UrbanPro.com through one of my cousins, who was registered as a math teacher on UrbanPro.com.
Q5. What was the turning point in your career?
Ans: The turning point in my career came when I helped one of my trainees get a job in her dream company. She was struggling to get a job after completing her engineering. I trained her on 21st-century skills; later she got offers from four different companies. I did a lot of mock interviews and outdoor activities to build her confidence up. Within 21 days she bagged an offer from her dream company.
Q6. How did UrbanPro.com help you expand your teaching classes?
Ans: Through UrbanPro.com, I have expanded to corporate clients from all over India. I design the modules based on the students needs to be posted on UrbanProcom platforms and, after a demo session, I start the training session.
Q7. What percentage of your work comes from UrbanPro.com?
Ans: Majority of my Leads are generated from UrbanPro and I thank UrbanPro.com for giving me this opportunity.
