Here is an excerpt from the interview with Manoj Ningthoujam.
Q1. When and how did you start as a 3ds Max trainer?
Long ago, one of my friends asked me if I can teach him a few concepts about 3ds Max. After I agreed to teach and started helping him, I was delighted to see him learn the concepts remarkably well and it was then that I realised that I am capable of teaching and I can train people well. That was how I began my career as a 3ds Max trainer.
Q2. What skills are required to become a 3ds Max trainer?
Primarily, good practical and teaching skills, are the essential qualities one has to possess. A 3D Studio Max trainer should have excellent practical skills about 3ds Max and Vray. Be it any teacher, I believe, one has to give practical examples to students, instead of just elucidating theoretical concepts. All the topics that seem tough should be explained by giving real-life examples. This method of learning with examples makes a student avoid mugging and cramming the concepts; rather leads to understanding and memorising the same for a long time.
