Chocolate chips cookies
Ingredients:-
White caster sugar - 115gm
Brown sugar - 100gm
Unsalted butter (melted) - 113gm
Baking powder - 2tsp
Baking soda - 1/2tsp
Water - 2tbsp
Vegetable oil - 1tsp
Vanilla essence - 1tsp
Salt - 1/2tsp (if you are using unsalted butter)
All purpose flour - 180gm
Roughly chopped dark chocolate - 140gm
Chopped walnuts - 71gm
Method:-
1 - In a bowl combine the melted butter, white sugar, brown sugar & vanilla extract.
2 - In a small bowl or cup add 2tbsp of water, 1tsp of oil and 2tsp baking powder and then mix. Then add to your butter and sugar mixture.
3 - mix the ingredients with hand whisk or spatula until you get a ribbon like consistency (don't over mix).
4 - In a separate bowl combine the flour baking soda & salt(if you are using unsalted butter) .
5 - Add in your dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix it well.
6 - Once you see no longer flour of large lumps and your cookie dough has come all together, then fold in your chopped chopped and walnuts.
7 - Make a ball of your desire size and let it set in fridge or freezer for 30minutes at least then bake in Preheated oven at 180°C on double rod for 12 to 15mins or until you get light golden brown colour on your cookies. (Leavee enough gap between two cookies )
8 - Take out from the oven let it cool down completely and then enjoy!
Important note:-
If you want your cookies to be puffed thick then make sure your cookie dough is not too wet or sticky other wise it will get flattened once it's baked.
So if you want your cookies to be puffed then add little more flour into your batter so that you can get thick cookies.
Also need to increase the time of baking keep checking from out side until you see light golden brown shade don't open the door of you oven too many times.
Have already increased the quantity of flour in this ingredients measurements only add more when you feel it needs (because every flour has different quality and volume)
For best cookies let your cookies rest in fridge overnight.
