IdentityAs an experienced Carnatic musician with over twelve years of training and a Master's degree in music, I have had the opportunity to perform on stage during festivals in various parts of Southern India, such as Vizak and Hyderabad. Through my teaching experience, I have successfully trained more than 100 students one-on-one, focusing on students aged five years and above.
My passion lies in teaching this traditional style of Indian music. With the increasing influence of Western culture in India, it is essential to preserve and grow the Carnatic music culture in the country. Over the years, I have been teaching Carnatic music online and offline. My teaching methodology is designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of Carnatic music vocally and theoretically. Each lesson, whether online or offline, is forty-five to sixty minutes long and is tailored to the student's learning style and pace.
My lesson plan begins with the basics of swaras and gradually progresses to more advanced singing classes. I believe in interactive, practical-oriented sessions that help students understand the nuances of Carnatic music better. I encourage my students to ask questions and provide regular feedback and guidance to help them improve. Through my teaching, I aim to instil a love and appreciation for Carnatic music in my students and to help them develop their skills and techniques to become accomplished Carnatic musicians. As a Carnatic music teacher, I am committed to providing my students with the best possible learning experience. My ultimate goal is to help preserve and promote this traditional music style and inspire a new generation of Carnatic musicians who will continue to keep this cultural heritage alive.
