At ABACUS N ABACUS we use ABACUS as a tool for the development of Child's Brain. Difference Between ABACUS and an Electronic Calculator ?
In an electronic calculator, the input is given by the child, but the processing and output is delivered by the calculator. But in case of ABACUS, the child converts the numbers into Beads (INPUT), Manipulates the Beads (PROCESSING) and brings out the result (OUTPUT).
This ABACUS course is NOT meant for mathematically weak students but it is oriented to generate whole and balanced brain to deal with other subjects. After all the LEVELS are completed successfully, the student can carry out the arithmetic calculations MENTALLY.
What is the best age to learn abacus for the Child?
According to the analysis on the development of the nervous tissues, the development and growth of the nervous tissues begins from the age of 4 to 6 years with the quickest speed. The progression will slow down after 12 years when growth reaches 75%. The greatest growth of human brain is during the age of 4 to 14 years where during this period, the frequency of brain wave increases gradually. Therefore as a parent to your child in order to explore and enhance the children's intelligence, the best learning time for your child is the age before 15 years.
