Teaching Experience in detail in Drums Classes
Fundamentals of Drumming: Learn the basics that can get you started on the drum kit! I am a drum instructor and a freelance musician. Trinity certified player. If you are willing to get started over the kit, you've come to the right place. You may be a beginner/fresher or an experienced player, I can help you grow and improve your drumming. I teach music production for beginners as well. My teaching approach is simple. One thing at a time! Each session will consist of 1/2 topics of 30/40 mins each. I believe, if you learn the basics well, and if you feel the music, anyone can play the kit. For me it's all about the experience once you sit on the kit. Theory is important but knowing and feeling the music is even more crucial. It nearly take 3 months for a fresher to finish my basic course. Taking online sessions for both, so you need access to any virtual portal like skype or google duo. There is no age limit, I teach all ages. Few requirements: A drum pad, pair of drum sticks and your dedication to learn.

"We had completed few classes with Pratik for my 3.5 yr old son. I think he was very patient in teaching my son and cooperative as well, keeping in mind the distractions that a 3 yr old would be bound to do. Was always punctual for the class and approachable for any questions. It was a good experience overall. "

Hello Rukmini, I hope everything is fine at your end!
I think it depends on your membership. There are few facilities like you can contact students directly if you have Platinum membership or Gold too, for that case.
But if you're not in position to upgrade, which is normal and absolutely ok, you can stick to your basic membership and still message the inquiries when you receive them. It's just you'll have to text message them until you get their number.
Hope this helps, take care.
Regards,
Pratik

Hey Komal, I hope everything is well at your end.
I'd like to give you few suggestions that helped me with the technical difficulties in the past.
- You can contact the UrbanPro team via mail and mention this problem.
- You can add email or your WhatsApp number so that the inquires can get in touch with you through that mode.
- These days social media works great too, you can mention your social handles.
I know you might be knowing all these already, but if you've missed o forgotten, this could be a gentle reminder.
Let me know if things work out for you. Looking forward!
Good luck with your teachings, I might get in touch with you sometime soon. I love learning languages, especially asian languages.
Take care!
Regards,
Pratik

Hey Thomas. That's a fascinating question, and I understand why you are getting confused. I am sure many amazing teachers over here have explained you the difference pretty well, but I would like to add some more clarity to it. Hindustani music is based on Raga's whereas Carnatic music is based on Kriti's. Sarangi is an instrument which is primarily used in Hindustani music whereas Violin is used majorly in Carnatic music. So when it's said "Classical music" it itself comprises of both of them. And I am sorry, won't be able to suggest a Pandit or Ustaad in your locality but am sure anyone from our community will guide you with that requirement of yours. Thank you for your time and patience. Let me know if there are any other confusions or questions which you would like to clear, would be happy to help.
