Well, if you ask the students directly for the money they may end up not signing up for your demo session but if you can play with your words a little you might be able to charge them. I'll tell you exactly how I prefer to do it. Let's suppose you came across a student who is interested to join your classes and asks you for a demo session. Now here you can use some of your sales techniques , now you can tell them that :--> although the demo session is completely free but to filter out the students who really are looking to join , you'll be charging a certain amount of money as a security fee which will be completely squared off once he/she signs for the classes.... In that way you'll filter out the time pass students. That's how I do it. You can also write your script as well.
