Hi my mother tongue is Telegu How can I learn Tamil?;

Tamil and Telugu are mostly similar. I am a Tamilian and I can easily understand Telugu, yet not fluent at speaking. I can understand Telugu words by observing and listening to people who speak Telugu. How they pronounce the words and when they use which word! If you don't have Tamil friends in your locality, you can always watch Tamil movies to learn the language.

Like any other person who wishes to learn a new language, it will be helpful to first ask yourself why you want to learn Tamil. Is it to be able to speak and have basic conversations? Is it for more specific reasons, such as being able to fulfill a job requirement, or a research purpose, or to be able to communicate on a more skilled level than everyday communication? 

After deciding why you want to learn, you can start with where you want to learn. You can learn from youtube, speak with friends who speak and write Tamil. You can also take courses if you are on the more serious side.

Hi ma. Develop the interest first by patiently listening to Tamil speaking Friends. Have frequent practical conversations about every day's activities . You can write your experience in Telugu and speak it out . You can also ask your friends to correct you while narrating it. Listen and repeat hard words. Find the meaning of hard words in a dictionary

Language you want to learn there are 3 steps

• Listen
• Speak
• Write

Listen the work and record that into memory with an example. Speak the native person more frequently. If you write the word into you mother language or conformable language it will be easy for you to refer.
