Suraanjali Academy

Suraanjali Academy of performing arts was initiated in 1997 to train students in the traditional art form of Bharatanatyam. It became a full fledged institution in 2003 and has ever since trained numerous talented students( more than 2000) in Bharatanatyam and has conducted many performances and arangetrams. The Artistic Directors of the institute are Sri Sureshkumar Sridharan and Smt. Rajni Suresh who are versatile performers and teachers who have many awards and accolades to their credit. They are senior disciples of Natyacharyas Padmabhushan Sri V.P Dhananjayan and Smt. Shanta Dhananjayan. Sri.Sureshkumar Sridharan and Smt. Rajni have traveled widely in India and other countries like USA, UK, Canada, Greece, Japan, Bahrain, Singapore, Reunion Islands etc. Sri. Sureshkumar Sridharan has been a member of the judging panel for Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi events at the Kerala state school kalolsavam from 2007 to 2016.
