Dr. Pournami V.

I am a teacher of physics. I completed my M.Sc in physics and also P.hD in Physics on March 2016. My academic training and experience as a teacher prepare me to be an effective instructor. I have a bachelor's degree in education and am also qualified for the eligibility test in teaching plus two levels conducted by Kerala state. My objective as a teacher is to motivate my students to develop their learning interests and critical thinking—to establish a learner-centred environment in the classroom. I prepare lesson plans always considering the interconnection between the student’s knowledge, culture and learning abilities, the subject matter discussed in class, and current debates on scientific updates. I choose content and activities that are both significant and challenging for the students to stimulate them to think “beyond” their comfort zone and feel involved in their learning process.
