Yes, Syncopation ensures multiple regions of the brain getting activated, which happens while playing musical instruments which helps in multitasking and provides greater attention span.
Also, drumming helps to use the left and right parts of your body simultaneously, which helps in activating left and right sides of your brain, which in turn can contribute to increased aptitude and concentration power.
