Despite a high fee structure, the school lacks basic facilities and lacks basic infrastructure which is even available at state run schools. There is a high turnover of teachers and many students left the school last year. The existing students and parents are extremely unhappy with the school and the school collects full year's fee at the beginning trapping parents and students.
- by Shruti on Sep 20, 2014The British International School is an exceptional school with a good insight on how to motivate students. It has a dynamic approach to teaching and my niece has been performing very well in studies ever since she joined that School. In fact, one of the main reasons is the level of individual attention that is being given to my niece which is thanks to the School's policy of not having more than 15 students per class. I am very happy that my niece was able to get admission here.
- by Sheela on May 05, 2015First, I have to say that this was truly the most terrible school I have ever been to, the teachers often can’t speak English, we don’t have an nurse, everything happens on the whim of the principal, we pay a lot but we never know where the money go, we often don’t have textbooks or balls to play with. The food is unsanitary, I once found ants crawling in my lunch, I packed lunch ever since.I have to address the fact that the school is disorganized and the principal has no idea what she’s doing, the curriculum is messy, they spend way too much time on festivals and dances for our principal’s entertainment that we don’t get the studying we are direly in need of which leads me terrible grades, my grades went from a 60 to a 99 when I left this school, they made me feel dumb but it was really just a terrible school. The teachers they hire are terrible, some don’t even know what they’re doing and one is incredibly racist towards me, an art teacher can become a science teacher because there aren’t enough teachers, they just hire anyone who wants the job because they give a very low pay, so low that our foreign language teachers barely stay half a year because the pay is way too low. In conclusion, this is a terrible school, if you love your child, don’t send them here as they kill your creativity and thirst for knowledge, take it from someone who was stuck here for four years and I am currently thriving in my new school, south Fayette high school and it opened my eyes to how terrible tbisc really is I am giving it a one star not because I pity them, because the system won’t let me leave no star.I am moody Brenda Juan, a past student at this school, not the aunt of a student and I hope you will consider my words before you join this school, I rest my case.
- by Brenda on Nov 03, 2017Terrible school, wasted my four years here, the principal has no idea what she’s doing, the teachers don’t teach, the nurse caused my to pass out once, there were bugs in the omelette they made, we once spent an entire year without textbooks, I have no words to describe how bad this school is. I had to give it a star otherwise I would have given it no star at all, I hope you heed my warning, thank you.
